A. is a national Jewish Boy's Fraternity, striving to carry on its work among the youth of the land. It makes its appeal to, and includes on its membership roll only boys between the ages of 16 and 21. It takes the boy at the most critical age of any in the entire span of human life, and at a time when the boy's habits are being slow formed and his character is being moulded, and seeks to bring into the life of that boy all the high ideals and principles, which enable to overcome the many obstacles which confront the adolescent youth of our country. Its work is of an intellectual nature carried on in a manner which appeals to its members, leaving an indelible impression upon sensitive hearts and plastic minds. This Order yet in its infancy to founded just a year ago, issued a clarion call the Jewish Youth of America xxdxxxxxx which was met with instantaneous response, result in the formation of Chapters of the A.Z.A. in the states of Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, Michigan, North Dakota, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Tennensee. Each day new applications for charters are arriving, the latest of which comes from Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Some will marvel at the almost miraculous growth of this Order, but when they stop to consider the nature and the purpose of the A.Z.A. it is small wonder that its progress has been so phenomenal.
