Julius Bison to I.F. Goodman Letter, July 23, 1940
ALEPH ZADIK ALEPH
Supreme Advisory Council Junior B'nai B'rith
EXECUTIVE OFFICES:
1003 K Street, N. W.
July 23, 1940
WASHINGTON, D. C.
Mr. I. F. Goodman
c/o Union Auto Supply Co.
1220 West Commerce St.
San Antonio, Texas
Dear Shrolly:
I can not tell you how regretful all of the members of the S.A.C.
were to have to accept your letter of resignation in accordance with
your wishes. I can't begin to tell you what a deep debt A.Z.A.
owes to you.
I am cognizant of the fact that in recent years it has not been
possible for you to be as active on the S.A.C. as you would want
to be, but at the same time I can not forget the fact that if it
were not for you and other die-hards, that A.Z.A. would probably
not be where it is today. Those were the days when there was much
uncertainty, when A.Z.A. was not accepted, when it was difficult
to get people to take an interest in A.Z.A., and through all that,
you stuck to A.Z.A. through thick and thin.
I do know that you must have a deep sense of satisfaction on your
part to know that because of your efforts, the A.Z.A. has been
able to achieve a measure of success that it enjoys today.
Believe us, that for all this, we are deeply grateful to you.
I know that we can always continue to count upon you as a loyal
friend and advisor and to aid us whenever called upon.
With warmest personal regards, I am,
Most cordially,
Julue Brand F.B
