ANNUAL REPORT OF GRAND ALEPH GODOL
Brethren and Members of the I. O. B. B.:
The words of the gentlemen that have preceded me
crystallized the feeling that we have experienced here in
your city the last few days. The unparalleled hospitality
and the spirit of companionship that have permeated this
conclave thus far has been, such that no words can ex-
press our appreciation. To you, members of the St. Paul
Chapter, we, the visitors, want to express our sincere thanks
and earnest appreciation for the efforts that you have
exerted in our behalf. To the members of the local I. O.
B. B. lodge and the citizenry of St. Paul we feel we owe
a debt of gratitude for the pains they have taken to make
us feel at home and for the courtesies they have extended.
W thank you all and hope that the work we will consum-
ate at this conclave will justify your unexcelled hospi-
tality.
The past year has been a momentous one in the his-
tory of our order. Progress has been the password. New
ideas have been cemented into realities. Our chapters
have grown, the number of chapters has increased. the in-
terest in our order has increased, so that as we come
together here for the next few days we do so with a feel-
ing that the experimental stage is past, that history has
been made, and that we, the boys that compose the pres-
ent membership of this order, are destined to be known
as the pioneers of a movement that will be a benefit to
humanity and a credit to our race.
I will attempt to tell you briefly just what has been
accomplished in the past year and what progress has been
made since our last convention in Kansas City.
