Julius Bisno to Unknown Memorandum, February 29, 1940
ALEPH ZADIK ALEPH
Supreme Advisory Council . Junior B'nai B'rith
EXECUTIVE OFFICES:
1003 K Street, N. W.
WASHINGTON, D.C.
February 29, 1940
Last Sunday it was my good fortune to witness the oratorical
finals of the Metropolitan A.Z.A. chapters. It is putting
it mildly to say that it was excellent.
Three of the participants (representing three of the
borough A.Z.A. councils) were particularly outstanding and it
was my thought that they ought to constitute an "A.Z.A.
speakers team" and visit the various local Binai B'rith
lodges.
Each boy speaks for ten minutes on his interpretation of
the "Bill of Rights" This would provide thirty minutes
of your next program. and I assure you that those thirty
minutes will be one of the high-lights in your year's
program.
If you would like to have these boys at your next meeting.
please communicate with the local A Z.A. Director, Hyman
M. Haves, 11 W. 42 St., (Telephone: Chickering 4-3720.)
Sincerely and fraternally,
JULIUS BIS NO
