Because of your special qualifications for the job, we will pay you a salary of $3650 per year. As we explained to you at your interview, there is unlimited possibilities of increase in your responsibilities and consequently your salary. At the present moment, we don't wish to bargain as to salary. We offered you the top price because we felt that you were the man for the position. The details with reference to a car expense a llowance, can be worked out later on with Julie. I don't think that you will face any difficulty or disagreement in respect to your traveling expenses.
